Pakistan’s National Tariff Commission (NTC) issued an affirmative preliminary determination on October 21, 2026, in the anti-dumping (AD) investigation into Alu Alu Foil (Cold Forming Foil and Tropical Foil) originating from or imported from China.
The decision imposes a 9.03% provisional AD duty on subject products, effective immediately for a period of four months.
The investigation covers products classified under Pakistan tariff codes 7607.1990 and 7607.2000.
Launched on July 23, 2026, the case examines dumping activity between April 2025 and March 2026, alongside injury data from April 2023 to March 2026.
Authorities anticipate issuing a final ruling within 180 days of the preliminary announcement.
