Saudi Arabia issued its final affirmative determination on October 12, 2026, in the anti-dumping (AD) investigation on aluminum easy-open lids for beverage cans originating in China. The ruling applies five-year AD duties on subject products under Saudi tariff code 8309.90.70.00.00, covering aluminum can lids with diameters between 50 mm and 63 mm regardless of thickness.
The imposed definitive duties, assessed on a CIF basis, range from 15.8% to 38.7%, with minimum specific rate thresholds between SAR 7.418 and SAR 18.201 per 1,000 units (or SAR 2.941 to SAR 7.215 per kilogram) depending on the producer and exporter.
The AD measures became effective the day after the official announcement.
